Amable torna al format Razzmatazz amb l'edició '09 del seu disc anual de mescles

Com cada any per aquestes dates, el nostre dj resident preferit de Razz Club torna amb un disc recopilatori amb el bo i millor de l'any. Si l'any passat passava de Razzmatazz a Clubbin' (de Sinnamon a Tsunami Music) i canviava el format de 2 cd's a un de sol, aquest any tornarà als orígens i tindrem Razzmatazz '09. El que no sabem és si serà disc doble o mantindrà el format d'un disc.

El que sí que sabem segur és que serà un discàs que contindrà els millors temes d'aquest 2009: no faltaran The XX, Delorean, Love Of Lesbian, Passion Pit, Phoenix, Dinosaur Pile-Up o The Pains Of Being Pure At Heart. Són només alguns dels que hi trobarem, entre d'altres que no coneixem i esperem descobrir, tots ells seleccionats i mesclats amb el talent i l'experiència d'Amable.

No us perdeu la festa de presentació del disc: dissabte 19 de desembre a Razz Club en sessió de clubs juntament amb l'actuació de The Raveonettes.

Labuat, projecte de Virginia de OT

Avui 24 de febrer ha sortit al mercat el primer àlbum de LABUAT. Es tracta d'un projecte en el que s'han barrejat les composicions de Risto Mejide, la veu de Virginia Maestro i la producció de The Pinker Tones. El primer single, "Soy tu Aire", ja ha estat número 1 de iTunes a Espanya.

Fa uns dies es van reunir al Círculo de Bellas Artes per presentar el projecte als mitjans de comunicació les tres parts implicades, on també es va ensenyar un making of de "Soy tu Aire", seguit d'una massiva roda de premsa. ¡Lydon vs. Kele!

John Lydon, el líder de la banda de punk Sex Pistols i Kele Okereke, frontman de Bloc Party van arribar a les mans el passat dissabte 19 a Barcelona durant el Summercase en un enfrontament on també van estar involucrats Ricky Wilson (Kaiser Chiefs) i Yannis Phillipakis (Foals).

El cantant de Bloc Party es trobava al festival acompanyant als seus amics Kaiser Chiefs on va sortir per tocar la pandereta a una cançó nova al concert del grup de Leeds.

Pel que es pot llegir a les pàgines especialitzades, els implicats es trobaven al backstage de l'escenari Movistar quan durant la discussió Lydon li va propinar unes paraules racistes en relació al color de pell de Okereke. Wilson i Phillipakis van acudir en ajuda d'aquest enfrontant-se amb Lydon i els seus, mentre que aquest últim nega que li digués cap paraula xenòfoba al cantant de Liverpool.

Al final del concert de Sex Pistols, Lydon va tornar a deixar un recadet aquest cop als Kaiser Chiefs que tocaven just després al mateix escenari, mentre que Phillipakis li va dedicar la cançó "Cassius" al vell líder de la banda de punk durant el Latitude Festival.

Des de la pàgina del Summercase es poden definir els horaris i fer un planning del festival, molt bona idea per anar preparat i organitzar-te millor. Al final la solapació sencera més dolorosa és la que protagonitzen The Verve amb Midnight Juggernauts el divendres mentre que el dissabte hi ha solapacions parcials de Dorian amb The Kooks i Los Campesinos!, Kings Of Leon amb Biffy Clyro i Sex Pistols amb The Raveonettes. Altres grups com Shout Out Louds o Sons & Daughters els donc per perduts degut a la forta competència dels seus respectius horaris.
